The chapel room in the Union College administration building can be seen in this 5-1/2" x 3" black and white photograph. Rows of wooden chairs face the front of the room, where there is a small platform with chairs, potted plants, and a lectern. There is a set of wooden double doors and a painting depicting several men on the wall above them. To the left of the door is a chalkboard, and a painting of the administration building on the wall above it. A pipe organ sits on the far right side of the room. There are cords hanging on the wall under the painting of the administration building. Bare light bulbs hang from the ceiling.

Historical Notes
The hanging of golden cords to represent Union College alumni who have served as missionaries in other countries started with a class gift in 1906 and has since become a symbol of the college. The college annual and the current alumni magazine are both named after this tradition.
