Parked at various angles, five buses sit at the north curb of H Street in Lincoln. Each bus has Capitol Stage Lines printed on the side. Behind the buses is the south or back side of the state capitol building. The small bush in the foreground is part of the plantings on the median of S. 15th Street.
According to Polk's City Directory of Lincoln, 1951, Capitol Stage Line was owned by Lester I. Creighton, and its offices were located at 244 S. 19th and 320 S. 13th Streets. This section of S. 15th Street that runs from the capitol to A Street is now called Goodhue Boulevard for the architect of the capitol.
