View of a small single-story brick building with a tile roof housing the Busboom Oil and Gas Station. A man in overalls and cap stands by the three gas pumps at the left filling up two cars. Each pump has a different grade of gas at a different price: 13 6/10 cents, 17 6/10 cents, and 19 6/10 cents--all with tax included.
This photograph taken for Western Brick & Supply Company which built the building. According to Polk's City Directory of Lincoln, 1936, Western Brick & Supply Company was located at 1911 R Street, Lincoln, with John H. Johnson as President, William M. Stoner as Treasurer, and George B. Blackstone as Secretary. The station appears to be outside of Lincoln in the country.
