According to Polk's City Directory of Lincoln, 1914, officers of the Nebraska Material Company were E.R. Bee (Fairbury, Neb.), president; Joseph G. Ray, vice president; James H. Allen, secretary and general manager; and Charles Klose, treasurer. At W.L Huffman Auto Company, Harry E. Mason served as General Manager and Johannes H. Hansen as Sales Manager. The Hupmobile automobile was built from 1909 through 1940 by the Hupp Motor Company. Chandler Motor Company produced automobiles during the 1910s and 1920s; in 1929, Chandler Motor Company was purchased by Hupp Motor Works for its factory and manufacturing facilities and the brand was discontinued.
