The Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad Depot, located on the northwest corner of 20th and O Streets in Lincoln, is a brick and stone building. It has a large covered platform and a fantastical roof. The tracks run along the east side. Houses and laundry on clothes lines can be seen in the background.
This building still stands (2010) and is currently occupied by Union Bank & Trust Company. According to the Lincoln City Directory, 1900, the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific ticket office was located at 1045 O Street. Frank H. Barnes was the city passenger and ticket agent.
