The passenger door of a delivery truck, parked at an angle to the curb on a brick street beside St. Paul's Methodist Church at the northeast corner of 12th and M Streets in Lincoln, reads "Wheeler & Motter Mer. Co., Wholesale Dry Goods, St. Joseph, MO." And the door frame is marked "24." Wire mesh encloses the sides of the bed of the truck and forms doors at the back. Waterproof curtains are rolled up at the top of the mesh allowing a view of baggage in the back. A toolbox is fastened to the running board.
