The center four-story building holding the Spirella Company Inc. at 211-215 has a fire escape running from the top floor to the 2nd floor with the section to the street level pulled up, and, in the decorative triangle at the top of the building, a relief states: Wittman Block, 1888. The three-story building to the right houses Wittman Batteries Company Inc. at number 205.
