A man dressed in coveralls, gloves, hat and work boots sits at the wheel of an open-cab delivery truck parked on the brick street next to the Methodist Episcopal Church at South 12th and M Streets in Lincoln. "Ford Delivery Co., B.3294, Long distance moving, we do it" is painted on the side of the truck.
According to the Lincoln City Directory, 1918, Jacob A. Wiederspan owned Ford Delivery Company which was located at 417 S. 11th Street and provided baggage and parcel delivery with quick service. The Methodist Episcopal Church eventually became St. Paul Methodist Church.
