Administration building, Ingleside Hospital for the Insane
Description
This 5-3/4" x 4" black and white plate shows the steepled entry portion of a large multi-story building. A fire escape leads from the top floor windows at the side of the entry. Trees are set into the lawn and sidewalks lead up to the building from several directions.

Historical Notes
Patients at the hospital ranged from 15 to 94 years of age. Diagnoses included senile dementia, intoxicated psychosis, organic brain disease, manic depressions, and epileptic states.
