The 1910 frame constuction of the Presbyterian Church is the subject of this black and white actual photograph post card. Its location is 412 E. 5th Street or 5th and Union. The severe lines of the structure are emphasized by the square, flat-topped bell tower and the use of rectangular, leaded glass windows. A simple wooden railing tops the tower instead of a spire. The building rests on a concrete block foundation punctuated with additional rectangular window sashes. Only the gable ends relieve its box-like appearance.
The Fremont Presbyterian Church was organized on November 23, 1873. A frame construction church, built in 1873 on Fifth Street, was in use until this building was constructed in 1910.
