Businesses on the west side of the street in this 4-3/4" x 3-1/4" black and white postcard include saloons, real estate offices, a barbershop, drugstore, cafe and tailor's shop. The buildings include the Tobin Building, O'Kane Chinese Cafe, and the Oberfelder Building. Snow covers a dirt street but the sidewalks are clear in front of the brick, stone, and wooden buildings. Two men stand in front of the closest building and several more stand under the awning of a saloon further up the street. A five-bulb street lamp stands on the corner and utility poles line the street. Written on the postcard is: "Sidney Nebr.
The Oberfelder Building was built in 1887 and Western Drug in 1906. The two wooden buildings in the middle burned down in 1916. Other businesses that occupied the buildings included the Capitol Saloon, McIntosh & Neahauer, Western Realty Co., Fundingsland Investment Co., and Bentley Land Office.
