Historical Notes
Agnes M. Birkel was born September 12, 1906, the daughter of Frank and Anna Birkel. She attended David City High School, graduating in 1924. She married Stanley L. Coufal, August 18, 1932. Her husband was a partner of Alfred Birkel in the Coufal/Birkel Implement business and John Deere dealership. Agnes and Stanley Birkel were the parents of two sons: Norman and Robert. Agnes died November 12, 1967.
