Historical Notes
Walter A. Treadway was born in Illinois, May 1, 1875, to David P. and Helen M. Chalfant Treadway. He married Flora Sheldon, December 1, 1897. They lived near Rising City, Nebraska, where Walter was a farmer and they raised their eight children. Flora Sheldon Treadway was born in Illinois in June 1877.
