Historical Notes
Joseph F. Zitek was the second son born to Joseph J. and Frances Treblick Zitek. He was born on a farm in rural Butler County, December 12, 1903. He married Rose Rech in Dwight on January 19, 1926, and raised four children. He was a farmer. Joseph died in Lincoln, Nebraska, on December 3, 1979.
