A 4"x6" glass plate negative, full figure portrait photograph of Eva Greenslit, Surprise, Nebraska, wearing wire-rimmed glasses, a floor-length white dress with wide ruffle at the skirt bottom, rows of horizontal pleats and pin tucks around the ruffle with rows of smocking around the skirt from hip to waist, self-fabric belt and full, gathered bodice and sleeves, a ruffle of mini-pleated fabric at the scoop-neck seam, and at the elbow with gathered fabric ruffle and band of trim above, white lace yoke with small ruffle trim around the scoop-neck seam and at the round neck with two ribbon rosettes pinned to the bodice seam in front, her brunette hair parted in the middle and pulled back behind her head and secured with large wide, white ribbon bow.

Eva Robbins Greenslit was born in Surprise, Nebraska, 1889, the daughter of Walter and Catherine (Kate) Greenslit. She married Leonard Anderson and moved to Chelon, Washington, where she became an educator, author and legislator.
