Permilia "Millie" Clark was born in Illinois, September, 1867. She married Dr. Simon Beede in Surprise, Nebraska, October 1893. They moved to David City in 1899, where Simon continued his medical practice. They had three children: Ivan, Clark and Margaret. Millie died in 1912 and is buried in the David City Cemetery.
