Historical Notes
Addie Bigger was born in 1890, in Iowa to Joseph and Frances Bigger. She was a school teacher who lived with Rita Runyon and her parents in David City, Nebraska, at the time the photo was taken. Rita C. Runyon was born in January 1890, in David City, to Edward and Nellie Runyon. She married Albert Waldo Ballenger. She had three children: Dean, Betty and Marilyn.
