Historical Notes
Edward Dostal was born in Linwood, Nebraska, April 15, 1880, to Joseph and Anna Checkacek Dostal. He married Rosy Kovar in Assumption Church, Appleton, Nebraska, October 4, 1904. Rose Kovar Dostal was born in Butler County, Nebraska, August 30, 1890, to Frank and Mary Petrie Kovar. Edward and Rosy lived near Appleton and raised five children. Edward died in 1952 and Rosy died July 5, 1978 and they are both buried in the Assumption Church Cemetery, Appleton.
