Description
This black and white photograph shows one of the early classes of freshmen nursing students at the Immanuel Deaconess Institute's Immanuel Nursing School. They are all wearing their white nursing uniforms and caps. The students, who are working towards a Registered Nurse degree, are standing on the concrete steps of the east side of the third hospital. Light fixtures can be seen on either side of the steps. There are French doors at the top of the steps behind the women, and shades can be seen in the windows.
Original format: black and white photographic print, 10 x 8 inches.
