| Historical Notes | Charles Dallegge (Dallege) was born in Iowa, April 16, 1866, to Fredrik and Eva Dallegge. He married Ella Cheney. Ella was born in Iowa, April, 1872. Charles died August 16, 1940 and Ella died in 1945. They are both buried in Grimm cemetery in Ulysses, Nebraska. They are pictured with four of their six children: Howard, Mabel, Ina and Charles. Howard was born September 20, 1889. He married Eleanor Nott and farmed in Peetz, Colorado. Howard died December, 1972. Mabel was born September 16, 1891. She married ? Caffery and lived in Spaulding, Nebraska. She died in April, 1972. Ina Dallege was born in July, 1897. Charles (the son) was born in November, 1898. He married Clara DeLong in 1917. |
