View of Union College campus, showing Nebraska Sanitarium and College Building
Description
A wire fence and a row of trees run along the edge of the Union College campus in this 5-1/4" x 2-1/2" black and white photograph. The Nebraska Sanitarium building is mostly hidden behind the trees, but parts of it are visible. The College Building is visible as well; it is a brick building with a light-colored brick foundation and a tower in the center. "San and College, Smith" is handwritten on the photograph.

Historical Notes
The College Building was also known as the administration building. It was built in 1890-91 and torn down in 1980-81. North Hall was also built in 1890-91 and originally housed Scandinavian and German students. It was owned by the Nebraska Sanitarium from 1905 to 1919. After the college bought back the building it became the women's residence hall.
