Snow covers a sidewalk, the ground, and several trees in this 3-1/8" x 5-1/2" black and white photograph. There are tall trees with bare branches as well as shorter evergreen trees. The snow is mounded on either side of the sidewalk, as if the sidewalk had at one time been cleared of snow. The sidewalk leads to East Hall, which is partially visible through the trees in the background.

Historical Notes
East Hall was built in 1909 when additional housing was needed for men. Residents called it the "White House" and designated themselves "Senators." Students living in the college's more substantial dormitories called it the "Cracker Box." In 1922 it was renovated and renamed the Normal Building. It housed the elementary school until 1958.
