A group of men can be seen on top of a brick building in this 4" x 5" black and white photograph. The men are holding a fire hose and aiming it at flames emerging from the center of the building. Telephone wires and power lines run across the front of the photograph.
Flames reached up over 50 feet into the sky when they finally burned through the roof of the Linder Motor Company building. Three fire trucks were stationed on three corners of the fire. There were no reported injuries. Evald (Evie) Abrahamson was among the fire fighters on the roof.
