A group of people stands in front of a wooden building with a false front in this 9.5" x 7.5" black and white photograph. The front of the building reads "S.A. Dravo Law Office. Real Estate Bought & Sold." Standing in front of the building are, from left to right, P.O. Hedland, Mrs. P.O. Hedland, Arthur Hedland (baby in carriage), Mrs. Will Dilworth, Minnie Larson, C.A. Dilworth, S.A. Dravo, Gyp (the dog), Charles Backman, Harry Hazlett, J.P. Hymer, Sam Mosier, Lewis Newman, A.P. Wilcox, John Danielson, and Irv Street.
One of the four law offices in Phelps Center before the 1883 "Holdrege Migration" was that of Sam Dravo. It was in this office that town promoters learned that the B & M Railroad would not include Phelps Center in its new track system.
