Raymond Larson, Harold Anderson, Neil Morrison, Roger Swartz, and Roland Larson are standing in a dirt yard and leaning against a brick wall in this 4" x 2.5" black and white photograph. Four of the boys are wearing jackets and ties, and the other one wears a pullover sweater.
These boys are leaning on the south wall of the new Loomis High School. Those on the outer edges of the lineup are Raymond and Roland Larson, known as the "Larson twins" who drove to the Loomis school from their home in Westmark, over seven miles north of Loomis. Harold Anderson and Neil Morrison were country boys from west of Loomis, getting their high school education in the new building. Roger Swartz was the only "town boy" in the picture, son of W. H. Swartz, manager of the First National Bank in Loomis.
