Elementary students exercise in the yard in front of a two-story brick school building in this 9 1/2" x 7" black and white photograph. The students stand in rows and hold batons over their heads. The girls wear dresses; the boys wear suit coats and short pants. The school has many windows and peaked roofs. Teachers stand to one side, observing the students, near a line of trees with bare branches.
