The First Unitarian Church of Omaha stands on the southeast corner of 17th and Cass Streets in this black and white lantern slide. The church is a large brick building with several wings. Two entrances are visible, with a set of stairs leading to each. Two chimneys can be seen on the roof, and there is a steeple on the far side of the building. Trees with bare branches surround the church.
The First Unitarian Church of Omaha was incorporated on August 22, 1869, and this church building was dedicated in 1871. The church moved into a new building, its current location at 31st and Harney Streets, in 1918.
