Color postcard (14 x 9 cm.) with a view looking west from the intersection of 16th and Harney Streets in Omaha, Nebraska. The large gray building on the left side of the image at the northwest corner of 17th & Harney is the new court house mentioned in the postcard's caption; construction of the building was completed in September, 1912. A red brick building on the south north side of Harney between 16th & 17th Streets has several signs stating it is the Omaha Rubber Company selling auto supplies and United States Tires. On the east side is a sign painted on the building "Omaha Rubber Company E. H. Sprague, Pres." There are early model cars and a lot of pedestrians crossing the street. The title "16th and Harney Streets, showing New Court House, Omaha, Nebr." is in the top left corner. On the reverse side of the postcard are the typeset words "Omaha - The Convention City of the West".
