This is a 5" x 7" black and white photograph of the Italianate style villa built by George and Nancy Turner at 78 South C Street in Fremont, Nebraska. A wooden sidewalk bordered with daisies leads to the front entry porch. This porch has been remodeled to create an ornate roofed entrance to the house. It continues to the left with wooden flooring and a lathed spindle railing but since this portion does not have a roof it bears a striking resemblance to a modern deck. The house faces west. The windows on the first floor have six panes over six panes while the second story windows are four panes. All windows have segmental arched tops. The home's overhanging eaves and decorative brackets are visible, as is a brick chimney to the rear of the structure. The grounds of the property are profusely planted with flowers, shrubs and trees. Hollyhocks are blooming at the right or south side of the dwelling. What appears to be a double outhouse or privy is seen in the background. A wooden glider swing is positioned under a tree at the left side of this view.
