This 5" x 8" black and white portrait photograph shows three men. Two are sitting on a bench, and the other is standing behind them. All three men are wearing hats. There is a window in the background and a fur rug on the wooden floor.
This photograph shows John Norman Bruer (1858-1946), James Riley a.k.a. Doc Middleton (1851-1913), and Truman P. Moody (died 1929). "Doc" Middleton was a well-known outlaw in his early years. He was backed in a saloon venture in Ardmore, South Dakota, in the early 1900s by Bruer and Moody.
