Historical Notes
Mary A. Kobza was born in Dwight, Nebraska, December 16, 1903, to Joseph and Annastazie Shonka Kobza. Mary was one of six children. Her parents farmed southeast of Ulysses. She married William J. Bartek, May 23, 1927, at Dwight Assumption Church, Dwight. They raised four children. Mary died May 5, 1967.
