Historical Notes
John R. Jones was born in New York, August 1846. The 1880 and 1900 census lists him as a drayman, living in David City, Nebraska, with his wife, Keziah Ham Jones and children: Cornelia, Mary, Jenny, Eddie and Roy. According to the 1920 census, Keziah is a widow, so J.R. died prior to 1920, although no exact date is known.
