Historical Notes
William Wallace Stowell was born December 1, 1853, in Rochester, Illinois. He died September 22, 1929, in David City, Butler County, Nebraska, and is buried in the David City Cemetery. Alice May, daughter of Lewis and Lydia Adella (Stowell) Kendall, was born December 18, 1904, in Surprise, Butler County, Nebraska. She died August 9, 1993, in Edwood, Gosper County, Nebraska.
