Historical Notes
Emmett Bauer was born March 6, 1896, to Melvin and Daisy Bauer. He died October 28, 1906, at ten years of age, in Sioux City, Iowa. He is buried in the David City Cemetery. Daisy Bauer was born November 1875, in Illinois. She married Melvin Bauer, a bank cashier in David City. They had three sons: Emmett, Morris and Morrell.
