Historical Notes
Charles Baker was born August 23, 1898, in Pender, Nebraska. He served in the Navy in World War I, and, upon his discharge, attended the University of Nebraska Dental School in Lincoln with his brother. He married Mattie Adee, November 28, 1923. His brother started a practice in David City following graduation and Charles bought that practice in 1929 and moved to David City. He was president of the Nebraska Dental Association in 1958 and was active in many local civic organizations.
