Historical Notes
Edith was the daughter of Harvey L. Boston, founder of the Boston Studio. An accomplished portrait photographer, Edith took over management of the Boston Studio in 1927, after Harvey's death. She married Anton Proskovec in 1941 and moved to Omaha but commuted to David City on a regular basis and continued to run the studio. In 1945, she trained her brother-in-Law, A.C. "Prof" Hurlbert, to take over the business. She died in 1986.
