The ceiling of the large room is hung with streamers and flags. The room has wood floors and large wood customer counter, with a scale and a display of cans. Behind the counter are three men in white aprons. A girl wearing a white, knee-length, long-sleeve dress with black hose and white shoes is standing in front of the counter.

Historical Notes
In 1915, Rudy Stanek purchased the meat market from the Hrock estate. Rudy moved to Brainard from Omaha, where he worked in the packing plant. He operated the business until his death in 1934, when his sons, Ernest and Frank, took over the business.
