Historical Notes
The Talbot Hotel was owned and operated by Mary Talbot. It was popular with the traveling public as well as with local citizens of Brainard, Nebraska. Mary Talbot took great pains to serve her customers and ran a first-class hotel. The tables were always supplied with the best the market had to offer and the $2.00 per day charge was considered reasonable.
