She is wearing a floor-length, white dress with vertical pleats sewn down the gored skirt, large lace appliques applied above the hemline and a flared train. The dress bodice features ribbon insets, lace appliques and long, tiered sleeves. The high-stand collar is inset with horizontal rows of ribbons under the chin and a brooch is attached to one side. Her hair is swept up into an elaborate coiffure with flowers and ribbons. She is holding a large bouquet of flowers with a long ribbon and single flowers trailing down the front of her dress.

Historical Notes
Madge was born in David City, Nebraska, May 6, 1882, to Arthur and Bessie Evans. After graduating from David City High School, she moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, and worked in the Lincoln Library and Lincoln Book store, 1912-1922. She moved to Beatrice, Nebraska, and worked as City Librarian until her retirement in 1952. After retiring, she moved to Omaha with her sister, Camille. Madge died in Omaha, January 23, 1968.
