Historical Notes
Annie was born November 22, 1875, to Jacob and Elizabeth Schmit Demuth. She married Nicholas Meysenburg, January 19, 1897. They raised seven children: Anna, Fred, Edith, Richard, Alfred, Lewis & Joseph. Their son, Nicholas, died at two years of age. Annie's husband, Nicholas, served as a Representative in the state legislature in 1915 and 1917 and was running for a third term when he died October 15, 1926. Annie died January 29, 1965. Annie and her husband are both buried in St. Mary's Cemetery in David City, Nebraska.
