This 1947 black and white photograph is an aerial view from the east of the Immanuel Deaconess Institute in Omaha, Nebraska. The two brick buildings with spires are the Nazareth Home, formerly the first hospital (left), and the second hospital (right). The large building behind them is the third hospital. The chapel is between the second hospital and the third hospital. The large building to the right of the second hospital is the deaconess home. The U-shaped building is the Immanuel Home for the Aged. The building toward the bottom of the picture with the large smokestack is the laundry facility. Fowler Street runs through the middle of the picture.
