In this 5-1/4" x 3-1/4" black and white photograph, there is a white two-story wooden building with a large front porch and a balcony with a railing on the second floor. A dirt road runs along the left side of the photograph, and there is a sidewalk leading to the building's porch. There are trees on building's lawn and a row of electrical poles along the dirt road. A greenhouse is partially visible in the background. "East Hall" is handwritten on the photograph.

Historical Notes
East Hall was built in 1909 when additional housing was needed for men. Residents call it the "White House" and designated themselves "Senators." Students living in the college's more substantial dormitories called it the "Cracker Box." In 1922 it was renovated and renamed the Normal Building. It housed the elementary school until 1958.
