Historical Notes
In the 1915-1916 biennium, the babies were provided with new living quarters: two large sun nurseries. The nursery where the older children sleep was connected to a large bathroom, a diet kitchen, and a dining room. The nursery for the younger babies was connected to a bathroom with a high tub and a retiring room for the mothers. Sixty-four babies were born at the home during the biennium.
