This photographic stereograph card is a view of the exterior of the Robert S. Somers residence, 1015 North Somers Avenue. The house is facing east. The front entrance is reached through the screened porch and the lower story bay window is duplicated on the second story. Italianate architectural elements include ornamented square porch posts, bracketed eaves, and a low, hipped roof. The Italianate style brick home is seen here in winter with snow on the ground and on the evergreen trees. Frost and ice also cling to the bare tree branches and snow has settled on the wooden fence with the square pickets. The sidewalks have been shoveled, but slush is visible on their surfaces.
