The Beatrice State Developmental Center has served Nebraska citizens with intellectual or developmental disabilities continuously since 1887. The BSDC collection includes images of BSDC and its previous incarnations as Beatrice State Home and the Nebraska Institute for the Feeble-Minded; the items span a time period from the 1880s to the 1980s.
The Beatrice State Developmental Center provides access to these materials for educational and research purposes and for personal enjoyment. Permission to reproduce these images in any form other than for personal individual use must be obtained in writing from the Beatrice State Developmental Center.
