Description	The 1913 atlas covers are tan cloth and spine is burgundy. Pages are 34 x 27 cm. On the front cover is the title "Atlas of Douglas, Sarpy and Washington Counties Nebraska and Mills and Pottawattamie Counties Iowa 1913." The title page states the atlas was "Compiled by The Anderson Publishing Company, Map and Atlas Publishers, 125 W. Ohio St., Chicago, ILL for the Bee Publishing Company, Omaha, Nebraska, sole distributors, 1913 copyrighted." Pages following are numbered (beginning with 2) in the top left and top right corners. Immediately following the title page are two index pages to the maps. Page 2 contains Douglas (misspelled Duoglas) and Sarpy County, Nebraska townships and Washington County, Nebraska precincts. Page 3 contains Pottawattamie and Mills County, Iowa townships. Pages 4 and 5 contain 1910 census population information for Douglas, Sarpy, Washington, Pottawattamie and Mills counties, towns and townships. Page 6 is a colored map of Douglas & Sarpy Counties, Nebraska listing township names and indicating main traveled roads, railroads, wagon roads, schools and churches, rivers, cemeteries and corporation lines. Most maps for the precincts and townships that follow indicate the same features as well as owners of parcels of land. Most maps are on the scale of 1.5 inch =1 mile. The maps sometimes have different names than are indicated in the index. Ranges are indicated by Roman numerals on the townships maps. Maps included are pages 7-24: Douglas and Sarpy County, Nebraska; page 25: Washington County, Nebraska; pages 26-37: Washington County precincts; pages 38 and 39: Pottawattamie County, Iowa; pages 40-67: Pottawattamie County, Iowa, townships; pages 60-61: Garner and Kane Township; page 68: Mills County, Iowa; pages 69-83: Mills County, Iowa, townships; page 84: Council Bluffs, Iowa; page 85: Greater Omaha, Nebraska, including South Omaha, Dundee and vicinity; page 86: a large fold-out color map (76 x 85.6 cm) of Douglas and Sarpy Counties, Nebraska, with the scale of 1 inch =1 mile.
